Not Your Average Matcha

This isn't just any ordinary Matcha.

It's a silky smooth, fragrant umami bomb, with almost zero bitterness.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this Matcha different from others?

Crafti's Ceremonial Uji Matcha is much less clumpy than other types of Matcha, due to a unique grind process used only by our Japanese tea partners.

It's also a lot less bitter, and has a natural smoothness.

It's especially good for casual Matcha drinkers, giving you a silky-smooth latte every time.

Can I just use a spoon?

We highly recommend using the Super Frother or the Matcha Whisk for the smoothest Matcha possible.

We do not recommend using a spoon to stir Matcha, as it will almost certainly result in clumpy Matcha.

Is your Matcha actually healthier than others?

Yes!

Our ceremonial grade Matcha tastes good even on its own, so there's no need to add sugar or cream to mask the bitterness of low-quality Matcha.

It's also organic - i.e. no pesticides or chemicals added. Why is this important? Tea is the only plant we consume without washing!

Finally - if it tastes good, you’ll keep the healthy habit going!

How many Matcha Lattes can I make?

Most Matcha recipes use ~2-3 grams of Matcha per cup.

Each 30g tin of Matcha can make about 10-15 Matcha Lattes.

How long till the expiry?

Your Matcha should be received with an expiry date from 6 to 12 months away.

Is there any added sugar?

No, there is absolutely no sugar or any other additives in our Matcha.

It has a naturally good taste that can be enjoyed without any sweeteners, perfect if you're health-conscious.

Does Matcha contain caffeine?

Yes, 1 gram of Matcha contains about 30mg of caffeine, equivalent to about half a shot of espresso.
