Why We Created the Sakura Latte
As the cherry blossoms start to bloom, it's the perfect time to enjoy the lovely Sakura Latte.
This special drink is perfect for spring and was a big hit at our recent pop-up.
We're sharing some tips on how to make it at home.
The Sakura Latte was inspired by the beautiful cherry blossom festivals in Japan.
The drink starts with milk that has a hint of cherry blossom flavor, which makes it taste light and fresh.
At Crafti, we wanted to make a drink that feels like spring in a cup, and this latte does just that.

Tips for Making Your Sakura Latte
If you want to try making this latte at home, here are a few tips:
Milk: Use your favorite type of milk.
Sakura Mixture: We used sakura powder because it's the most easily available. It should have a nice, floral flavour to it, similar to rose. Add the sakura powder to the milk and blend. If you have a frother, use it to make the milk foamy. If you're just using a spoon, try heating up the milk first to make it easier to dissolve.
Sweetener: We recommend using a liquid sweetener (like a syrup), or mixing the sugar with the Sakura mixture.
